Storm Shadow is a fictional characters best known for the rivalry and love-hate connection he has with Snake Eyes, a member of the GI Joe Team. He is portrayed as the ninja bodyguard and assassin of the Cobra Commander in the comics, television series, and the movie GI Joe: Rise of the Cobra . He wear a white uniform and mask as he fight Snake Eyes and other members of the GI Joe Team.

Thomas S. Arashikage is his real name and he is as a Japanese-American with black, dark eyes and hair. Even though in the 2009 movie he was seen to have fallen into icy water and stabbed by Snake Eyes, he is expected to appear in the sequels of the film. He is well known for his martial arts skills.

Storm Shadow is best known for being the Cobra Commander’s bodyguard and at time an assassin. He is the only GI Joe character who has fought for both Cobra Organization and the GI Joe Team.

Storm Shadow has built several relationships but the most interested is that which he has with his “blood brother” Snake Eyes. Storm Shadow has had every relationship imaginable with Snake Eyes. They’ve been to battle with each other and against each other over the years.

Snake Eyes is the code name for a member of the G.I Joe Team and is a former U.S. Army Special Forces Operative (Delta).  He has had Drill Sergeant training and has a military standing of U.S. Army Sergeant First Class.  His personal information such as his real name, where he was born, and other important information is classified.  Not much is know about his past.

Hasbro Toys named him Commando.  However, in 1984 Marvel Comics recognized him as a Ninja Master.

Snake Eyes is highly skilled in a number of weapons, including firearms and explosives.  But his talent in multiple martial arts, which he is a deadly master at makes him most dangerous.  He is well known as an expert in the use of Ninjato and Trench Knives. Snake Eyes has also mastered stealth movements and being able to approach quietly.

He wears a black Ninja bodysuit with a balaclava, and a visor to cover the scars on his face that was left from a helicopter explosion that disfigured him.  This streamlining of his body allows for greater stealthy attacks.   Surgery to repair his vocal cords failed, and he still has extensive scarring to the rest of his body.

Snake Eyes is six feet tall, has an athletic build with blond hair and blue eyes. Timber his pet wolf has appeared several times in toys, comics, and the animated TV series.

Snake Eyes has been shown in many comics and the TV animated series being romantically involved with fellow G.I. Joe team member Master Sergeant Shana M. O’Hara, a.k.a. Scarlett. Apprentices include Ophelia (Deceased), Kamakura, Tiger Claw, and Jinx.
